Wren first came to Charlottesville as a PhD candidate in English at UVA before taking a position as Project Editor at the Press in 2009. In 2021, they became chair of the Press’s first Equity and Inclusion Committee, and in 2022 they became the Press’s first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer.
